Hexabromocyclododecane  is a kind of white cystalline powder,can be called as 

HBCD  or HBCDD either. 

HBCD is one of Cycloaliphatic flame retardants with high bromine.

1. HBCD is mainly used in the inflaming retarding of EPS, epoxy resin, silicone resin, coating, adhesive, textile. HBCD has a good imflaming retarding effect either when do not be used with antimony synergist together.

2. The HBCD after thermal stabilization can be used as the inflaming retardant in like HIPS,

EPS, XPS, PP, homopolymer and copolymer,ect.. The HBCD can be used alone or together

with antimony trioxide.

HBCD should be stored in a cool and dry place away from light.

HBCD is usually packed in 25Kg kraft paper bags.
