Product Description

Brominated polystyrene flame retardant is an additive of brominated polymer which contains high temperature stable aromatic, it is a kind of white or light yellow powder or granule, bromine content is about 68%. thermal decomposition temperature is more than 330 centi grade, high molecular weight, good miscibility and dispersibility in the polymer. It is easily processed, no forst, and has excellent thermal stability and electrical characteristics.

Because of the thermal stability, it is usually used in occasions which other flame retardant can not afford. And because of its polymer structure, the products will not dissolve out in all kinds of applications.

Applications:
Suitable for all kinds of engineering plastics such as polyester (PET, PBT) and polyamide (nylon) etc. It should be used along with antimonide.
